The Saint John Police Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit (IEU) made an arrest in a drug trafficking investigation.

It is said that:

On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, investigators issued a warrant for a body previously seized from a west side residence in December 2022. Items seized include, but are not limited to:

• approximately $13,218.35 Canadian Dollars
• 2 ounces of a substance considered to be crystal meth
• 32 pills of a substance believed to be Hydromorphone
• 60 pills of a substance believed to be Percocet

The investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed at this time.
